Through the Chief Minister Solar Krishi Vahini Yojana, the state government will provide electricity to the farmers at low prices, so that they can easily complete their farming work. Electricity is necessary for farming, and most of the farmers face power shortage due to their poor condition. Therefore, the Maharashtra government has launched this scheme, so that farmers can benefit. Currently, this scheme is applicable in some districts, but within the next 3 years it will be implemented in the entire state so that electricity can be supplied to more and more farmers.

Benefits and features of Mukhyamantri Solar Krishi Vahini Yojana
This scheme has been started to provide electricity to the farmers of Maharashtra at a cheaper rate.
Electricity will be provided to farmers using solar energy.

Farmers will have to pay rent to the government for 15 years.
200 farmers of the state will be provided electricity up to 1 MW, while 4,000 farmers will be given 20 MW solar plants as per their requirement.
