Second Phase of Crop Loan Waiver Telangana
The Telangana state government has announced the second phase of the Crop Loan Waiver Telangana scheme. The state’s Chief Minister will personally announce the Telangana Crop Loan 2nd List. Additionally, the loan waiver amount under this scheme has been increased to INR 1.5 lakh, benefiting more farmers who missed out during the first phase. The updated list will be available soon on the scheme’s official website.
Implementation of the Scheme in Three Phases
The Crop Loan Waiver scheme will be implemented in three phases. In the first phase, loans up to INR 1 lakh will be waived off by the Telangana state government. This phase alone will waive loans amounting to INR 6,098.93 crore, benefiting 11,50,193 farmers across 11,08,171 loan accounts. Overall, the government plans to allocate a total of INR 40,000 crore to clear all outstanding loans under this scheme.

Guidelines for Crop Loan Waiver Scheme

Loans up to INR 2 lakh will be waived, and farmers must possess either a food security card or ration card to qualify for this scheme.
