Assam Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme
The Assam government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, has launched the Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Asoni (MMNMA) scheme, a significant initiative aimed at eradicating child marriage and promoting education among female students. This comprehensive program is designed to provide financial assistance to female students across the state, ensuring they have the necessary support to continue their education and delay marriage.

By encouraging girls to pursue higher education, the scheme aims to secure a better future for them, thereby reducing the incidence of early marriages. This initiative is expected to increase the enrollment of girls in higher secondary, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses.
